This patient underwent open rhinoplasty to correct a septal deviation (tip pointing to the right) and deliver a more feminine nasal profile. Subtle changes were achieved to smooth the side profile and improve tip projection using a combination of techniques including septal extension graft and special tip sutures. A septoplasty was performed to help straighten the axis of the nose with auto-spreader grafts to recreate the dorsal aesthetic lines and deliver a smooth contour front-on. Minced cartilage was used to camouflage the underlying structure due to the skin being very thin. Result at 2 months – the scar is still visible from the basal view.
