This young lady underwent a chin augmentation with a large extended anatomical implant to address a weak chin. At the same time, a minor degree of chin liposuction was performed to help redrape the skin under the chin. We discussed the possibility of a short scar neck lift, which is generally more effective in achieving neck contour changes but agreed to defer for a second stage if required. The combined effect of minor liposuction and chin augmentation was both an increase in chin projection as well as improvement in the neck contour. At two months, she was thrilled with the outcome and improved confidence.
