Breast Enlargement
Breast implant surgery is one of the most common plastic surgery procedures. Breast Lift (Mastopexy)
Over time, the effects of gravity and gradual stretching of the skin can lead to a ‘droopy’ breast appearance. This is often exaggerated by pregnancy and breast-feeding. A breast lift or mastopexy reshapes the breast, removing excess skin and lifting the nipple into a higher position. The result is a more youthful and pert appearance without a reduction in overall size of the breasts. Mr Townley favours use of an ‘auto-augmentation’ technique, which involves using the lower part of the breast tissue as an implant to fill the upper part of the breast – delivering a natural as well as youthful breast shape without need for an implant.

Breast Reduction
Breast reduction is a highly successful plastic surgery operation that both reduces the size of breasts and delivers a more youthful, uplifted appearance. By removing volume, breast reduction surgery delivers a more balanced and less ‘top-heavy’ look. Patients also consistently describe a significant improvement in quality of life through reduced social awkwardness, pain, and skin irritation – common complaints in patients with excessively large breasts. Nipple Reduction & Inverted Nipple Correction
An inward pointing nipple or a nipple that is excessively protuberant or large can be a source of embarrassment. Both are easily correctable through simple procedures with minimal scarring.
Local anaesthetic 30-60 minutes. Daycase.
Male Breast Reduction (Gynaecomastia)
An increase in breast tissue can occur in some men particularly in adolescence that may cause social embarrassment. Occasionally, there is a specific cause but often not. The most dutiful diet or exercise regime will often not shift this unwanted breast tissue. Gynaecomastia reduction can deliver a flatter, more muscular-defined chest with minimal scarring.
